Time Management Strategies for Monday

Most people complain about Mondays. There’s even songs written about how bad Mondays are. However, for me, Monday mornings are one of my favorite times.

One of my favorite time management strategies is to deliberately create; my day, my week… my life.

On Monday mornings, I design my ideal week, and then I go about living it.

I’ve shared before that living an ideal life is a lot easier than most people make it.

An ideal life is a series of ideal days. All you have to do is learn how to live an ideal day.

So, on Mondays, I create an ideal week.

I do this by looking at my intentions, reviewing my commitments and designing a week that moves me closer to more of what I want.

Time management does not have to be a bad word.

Simple strategies can move you closer to what you want.

The best time to do this is either; on Monday mornings, Sunday nights, or Fridays before you end for the week.

If you use the Let Your Millionaire Out Success System, then follow the steps, you do this automatically.

If you don’t have a system, look at your calendar.

  • Review your goals (we use intentions)
  • Consider what could you achieve to move you closer to what you want
  • Consider looking back seven days from now, what would make this an ideal week?
  • Be sure to consider the major areas of your life:

Once you’ve gone through this exercise, you should feel excited by the week you’re now facing.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or tired before even starting, go back and review your plan, and remove those things you consider are; need to, have to or should’s.

There is no need to include anything you don’t want to be doing. If you feel you still have to do something, change your mindset to “choosing to” do it, because of the results it will bring.

Be sure to incorporate these, or other similar, time management strategies as part of your daily, weekly, monthly and yearly habits.

Remember, living an ideal life truly is the art (and science) of living an ideal day. For many people, planning their week is the easiest way to create ideal days.
